Hi, I’m Mrs. T!

I love cooperative learning for so many reasons. The number one reason is the fact that the children get to learn from not only our teachers, but also our parents. Our parents have so much to contribute to cooperative learning and I’m grateful that I have been able to experience this as a parent, and will get to experience this as a teacher starting Fall 2025!

2025 will be my first year teaching cooperative preschool, but my own kiddos have been in the preschool for the last five years. Before that, I was a professional nanny for fourteen years working with kids from ages newborn up to age 6! One of the families I worked with allowed me to volunteer in the classroom at the cooperative preschool their children attended in Seattle, WA. It was there that I fell in love with this model and vowed to let my children (and my family) have the same great experience that I had several years ago.

Patience, love, and awe are my best qualities when it comes to working with young children, and I’m so excited to use these qualities to help teach all of your kiddos! I’m also excited to get to know and work with all of you parents to help make Everett Cooperative Preschool the best preschool experience for your family!

Personally, I have been married to my husband for almost 15 years and we have two wonderful children. I love to travel, I’m a francophile (and will most likely speak a little french in the classroom), and a musician (the piano and voice) since the age of six. I love to be with my family, I love to travel, I love a little bit of coffee (okay a lot a bit of coffee), and I recently learned that I love to play BUNCO!!

One of the most important decisions you can make for your child is their early childhood education. I am honored to lead the children at Everett Cooperative Preschool through their early and formative school years. My approach to teaching is much like how I live my life. I teach through kindness, compassion, and patience. I believe that we are all lifelong learners, and together, in partnership with family, I create a safe, nurturing, and loving school environment. I teach children through a play-based curriculum and believe that when we work together, we will “move mountains” (-Dr. Seuss).  Choosing a cooperative education allows families to help evolve our school and make it a unique family environment, which is why my family chose cooperative for our children. I have over 9 years of experience in cooperative preschool, 4 of which I have been lead teaching. I am looking forward to meeting your family and the upcoming school year. Mom to two fantastic children that attend school in the Everett Public School system. Married for 17 years. Interests include: volunteering in my community, reading, yoga, and spending time with my family.

Hello, I’m Miss Lindsey!
